Milnsbridge & Rastrick top the tables
As we enter the enforced break we have similar stories with the top two in both divisions suddenly opening 5 point leads over the chasing pack. In the Milnsbridge Division the host team had a 6-0 win recorded as their opponents, Huddersfield Recreation Club 'B', couldn't field a team so forfeit the points.
Lowerhouses 'A' beat Thorpe Green 5-1 to maintain their 100% winning record and are now one point behind leaders Milnsbridge with a game in hand. In all three games to date Lowerhouses 'A' have fielded the same four bowlers as have Dalton but it didn't work for them this time going down 2-4 to Lindley BC which included the first 21-0 win of the season with Lindley bowler Glynis Philbin taking the honours.
Over at Springwood the leaders Clayton West had a 4-2 win which included two points for a narrow 67-64 aggregate total over Kirkheaton Con but that wasn't sufficient for them to retain top spot although they remain unbeaten. Rastrick taking over on a better Aggregate For total after drawing level on points following their second 6-0 win of the season. This time Springwood were the losing team and as a result they dropped into the bottom two.
The previous bottom two played each other with Lowerhouses 'B' gaining their first points of the campaign in a 4-2 victory over Huddersfield Recreation Club 'A' who still managed to move out of the bottom two.
