Local club gets £5,400 grant. Your turn next?

One Veteran's League club has received over £5,400 grant from Sport England to help offset losses incurred as a result of the coronavirus. Bids are still being received. All you have to do is complete the questions in the form linked below and submit it.

There is some urgency about doing that as it is intended to pause all bids received after midnight on Thursday 14 May to enable staff to catch up with the backlog caused by 8,000 applications received to date. So get your bid submitted by late Thursday to ensure you are in the queue for this wave of grants.

Sport England previously announced a £20million Emergency Fund for small sports clubs. They have since announced a further £175m package of funding to help sports organisations through the long and short term impact of the coronavirus pandemic. To date over £16million has been paid out to sport clubs.

This takes the total up to £195million available from Sport England to sports clubs with grants starting from £300 upwards.
