Clubs can bid for this funding in addition to any funding they have received from the local authority. It is known that many bowling clubs have received £10,000 from Kirklees MC after following a simple application process.
The full list of over 90 sports clubs in Kirklees that have received any funding to date is available on the Sport England website and an extract is provided by following the link alongside.
Bids are still being received by Sport England and the details can be found on their website. Sport England Emergency Fund
The funding from Kirklees MC is also still available and any bowling club that hasn't submitted their application form should do so very soon. Any club with a rateable value up to £15,000 is entitled to a £10,000 grant. Details
